A to Z Adoption Challenge

Start this challenge in any neighborhood, new or existing, by creating a family of one single adult with the Family aspiration.

Let's call your CAS Sim "Dad". Dad will follow a schedule for adopting infants on every 4th day. Name your first infant with an A name, such as Anna, the second with a B name, like Bob, etc. The challenge gets more and more difficult as you work your way through the alphabet, because there will be more beds to buy, more bathrooms to build, more needs to satisfy, etc. And once Dad becomes an elder, he is going to leave the household and let his children continue on with the challenge.

If you follow the schedule, Dad will adopt infants named A through G, and he will become an elder the day before "A" becomes an adult. Elder Dad leaves, then Anna will become an adult and makes her call for adoption immediately. Anna should stay one more day to receive her "H" child. However Anna is not going to stick around to raise her baby, she is going to leave the infant for her teen, children, and toddler siblings to raise. Three days after "Harry" arrives, "Bob" will become an adult, call for an adoption, and leave his "I" infant at the house, etc. So although you'll get a decent start with Dad's income to set up house, things will become even MORE difficult with no adults in the house to raise the infants from then on...

The challenge ends when you make it all the way to the day you receive the "Z" infant. (You won't have to raise "Z", by this time you and your family will have been through enough!) The challenge ends early if any of the children are taken by the social worker.

Scoring:

+1 for every toddler who gets potty-trained
+1 for every toddler who learns to walk
+1 for every toddler who learns to talk

+1 for every toddler who Grows Up Well to childhood
+1 for every child who Grows Up Well to teenhood
+1 for every teen who Grows Up Well to adulthood

+1 for every child who gets into Private School (as a child OR teen - you can get 5 kids in at once)

minus 1 for every day a child or teen misses school
minus 1 for every adoption that is not called for on time
(you'll need $3,000 in the bank, follow the schedule, and don't forget to meet the Social Worker the next day!)

Rules:

No money cheats.
No behavioral cheats.
No changing aspirations.
No Life Elixirs.
All teens must also be given the Family aspiration.
Nannies are allowed, and recommended!

Here is the schedule you should follow:

"Dad" moves in Monday morning. He has a couple days to find a job and set up house. On Wednesday he should call for his first baby... the "A" infant. Thursday the infant arrives, he raises the infant Friday and Saturday, then Sunday he calls for the "B" infant. So it's call for infant, receive infant, two days off, call for infant, receive infant, etc. Make yourself a calendar to keep track, or an easy way to remember is your youngest child should be at the age of "Toddler - becomes a Child in 3 days" on the day that you must call for the next adoption.

Let "Dad" become an elder at home, then he must "Find Own Place". The next day "Anna" will become an adult, and must immediately call for her infant. She stays till the next morning to receive the infant, then she must immediately "Find Own Place". After that, you won't have to keep track of the calendar because you will simply adopt whenever the next teen becomes an adult. The last child to adopt will be "Sarah" or "Stan"... when she or he becomes an adult, they will adopt "Zoe" or "Zach". At the moment the "Z" infant arrives, tally your score, and let me know how you did!
